I'm a proud Kapampangan from Pampanga, Philippines, a region celebrated throughout the world as the culinary capital of the Philippines, home to the country's greatest chefs and most flavorful cuisine.
Growing up, the kitchen was the heart of our home. My late mother passed down her love of cooking to me, recipes built on tradition, made with the freshest ingredients, and seasoned with genuine care for every person at the table.
Today, Lola Luz Cuisine carries that legacy forward. Every dish I prepare is a tribute to her memory and to the timeless flavors that make Filipino food so special, from the rich, slow-braised kare-kare to the crispy golden lumpia that disappears in minutes at every party!
